Product Description

‌Daminozide CAS#1596-84-5

‌Alar is a systemic plant growth regulator approved for ornamental plants in the US, such as chrysanthemums, poinsettias and bedding plants, mostly cultivated in greenhouse environments.

It works by restraining internode elongation, boosting plant tolerance to heat, drought and frost. It also improves overall plant quality with darker leaves, sturdier stems, as well as earlier and more profuse flowering and fruiting. The usual application concentration of Alar spray is between 1500 and 10,000 ppm.

Product Application of Daminozide CAS#1596-84-5

Daminozide (CAS 1596-84-5), also known as butyryl hydrazine, is an effective plant growth regulator widely used in agriculture and horticulture. It is suitable for multiple crops such as fruit trees, potatoes, sweet potatoes, tomatoes and strawberries.

It restrains excessive vegetative growth to promote compact and dwarf plant growth habits. Meanwhile, it strengthens crop tolerance to cold and drought stress, reduces flower and fruit dropping, and effectively improves fruit set rate and final crop yield.
