Product Description

Products Description of Calcium carbonate CAS#471-34-1

Calcium carbonate, a natural mineral found in limestone, marble, chalk and coral, is a versatile industrial raw material. It is used in construction (cement, glass), calcium compound production, and as powdered/precipitated grades in paper, paints, plastics, adhesives and cosmetics.

Product Applications of Calcium carbonate CAS#471-34-1

Calcium carbonate (limestone) is the calcium salt of carbonic acid, available in various particle sizes. Nearly insoluble in water/alcohol (pH 9–9.5), it is used as an anti-caking agent, dough strengthener, calcium fortifier and antacid neutralizer, and is the primary raw material for lime production.
