Sodium gluconate works as a natural preservative, skin conditioner and chelator, boosting foam stability in hard-water cleansing formulations. It is widely added to daily personal care and cosmetic products. In research, it is applied in TEVC experimental buffers for Xenopus laevis oocytes and used for sodium level regulation.


