Product Description

Product Description of Sodium Tungstate Dihydrate CAS#10213-10-2

Sodium Tungstate Dihydrate is a white crystalline powder or colorless to white rhombic crystal, with excellent water solubility. Its solubility in water at 25 °C is about 74.2 g/100 mL, and the aqueous solution is weakly alkaline. It is insoluble in ethanol and slightly soluble in ammonia. The compound is stable under normal temperature and pressure, and gradually loses crystal water upon heating. It reacts with strong acids to generate tungstic acid precipitate.

Product Application of Sodium Tungstate Dihydrate CAS#10213-10-2

Sodium Tungstate Dihydrate (CAS 10213-10-2) features a wide range of applications. Industrially, it is used for steel electroplating, metal surface treatment and petrochemical catalysis. In material science, it acts as a key raw material for the preparation of tungsten trioxide, tungsten carbide and other related tungsten compounds. It is also utilized as an analytical reagent for the detection of various elements. In the pharmaceutical industry, it participates in drug synthesis and enzyme inhibitor research. In agriculture, it can be applied as a trace element fertilizer.
