Product Description

Product Description of ‌Sodium Chloride CAS#7647-14-5

Sodium chloride (table salt) is abundant worldwide, primarily sourced from oceans (2.68 wt% average) and also found in inland brines and halite rock deposits. It is essential in food preparation for flavor enhancement and providing dietary sodium.

Product Application of Sodium Chloride CAS#7647-14-5

Sodium chloride (table salt) exists as halite, brines and seawater, highly soluble in water but poorly soluble in alcohol. It was the first halide combined with silver nitrate and a stabilizer in early photography (used by Daguerre and Talbot) before hypo replaced it for image fixing.
