Product Description

Product Application of Stannous sulfate CAS#7488-55-3

Industrial-grade tin(II) sulfate features a purity of ≥99% and is a white, odorless crystalline powder. It decomposes at 360 °C, with no definitive boiling point as it breaks down upon heating. At 25 °C, its vapor pressure is negligible, and it has a relative density of 4.15 at 20 °C. Tin(II) sulfate is soluble in water yet prone to hydrolysis, slightly soluble in dilute acids, and insoluble in ethanol. It remains chemically stable under conventional storage and use conditions, but is incompatible with strong oxidizing agents and strong bases.

Product Application of Stannous sulfate CAS#7488-55-3

Used in the electroplating industry as an electroplating solution. Used in the dyeing and printing industry as a mordant. Also used as a chemical analysis reagent, etc. In the electroplating industry, it is used for tin plating, as an electroplating solution, as a dyeing and printing mordant, and as a chemical analysis reagent. It is also used for tin plating and the production of stannous salts. Stannous sulfate is used as a mordant for fabrics and also for tin plating.
