It is readily soluble in polar solvents and only slightly soluble in water. The product exhibits excellent antistatic, anticorrosive, dispersing, emulsifying, and foaming properties. It is compatible with cationic, nonionic, and amphoteric surfactants, and can adsorb onto negatively charged surfaces, improving fiber softness, bulkiness, and hydrophobicity.
