Product Description

Product Description of Artemisinin CAS#63968-64-9

Artemisinin is a peroxide-containing sesquiterpene lactone extracted from Artemisia annua. It features high potency, fast action and low toxicity.

Widely used in ACT therapy with over 90% curative rate globally, it rapidly eliminates plasmodium at erythrocytic stage to ease malaria symptoms. It also treats animal parasitic diseases and various fever-related disorders including drug-resistant malaria.

Product Application of Artemisinin CAS#63968-64-9

Extracted from sweet wormwood, artemisinin serves as a core antimalarial drug. It and its derivatives efficiently cure various malaria types including drug-resistant and cerebral malaria, featuring fast efficacy, low toxicity and no cross resistance with chloroquine.

Artemether exerts stronger inhibition on asexual plasmodium. Dihydroartemisinin boasts tenfold higher antimalarial activity and a low recurrence rate.
Apart from malaria, they are effective against parasites, lupus erythematosus and dengue fever. They also boost human immunity with no obvious damage to vital organs and few clinical side effects.
