Products Description of Etidronic Acid CAS#2809-21-4

HEDP is a chlorine-free electroplating complexing agent and core water stabilizer for circulating cooling water, delivering excellent corrosion and scale inhibition.
As a typical organic polyphosphonic acid water treatment agent alongside ATMP and EDTMP, such chemicals were developed in the late 1960s and widely applied in the 1970s.


Product Application of Etidronic Acid CAS#2809-21-4

1-Hydroxyethylidenebis(phosphonic acid) inhibits protein tyrosine phosphatase and serves photographic uses. It aids bone health and treats osteoporosis and Paget’s disease.
Industrially, it prevents corrosion and scale in cooling water, oilfields, boilers and various industries, and prepares desalination antiscalants. It is also added into detergents, cosmetics and medicines.
