Cimetidine CAS#51481-61-9

Cimetidine CAS#51481-61-9

Effective Gastric Acid Inhibition: As an H2 receptor antagonist, cimetidine significantly reduces gastric acid secretion and lowers acidity triggered by food, histamine, or pentagastrin.

Gastroprotective and Anti-Ulcer Activity: It provides preventive and protective effects against corrosive gastritis, and is effective in the treatment of gastric ulcers, duodenal ulcers, and upper gastrointestinal bleeding.

Multi-Functional Therapeutic Benefits: The product exhibits anti-androgen activity, offering therapeutic value in the management of conditions such as hirsutism.

Immune Modulation and Anti-Tumor Support: It can enhance immune response by reducing immunosuppressive cell activity, helping to inhibit tumor metastasis and prolong survival.

Product Description

Product Description of Cimetidine CAS#51481-61-9

Cimetidine is an H2 receptor antagonist that suppresses gastric acid secretion and lowers gastric acidity. It protects against chemically induced gastritis and relieves stress gastric ulcers and upper gastrointestinal hemorrhage.
It possesses anti-androgenic properties for hirsutism treatment, and can modulate immunity to restrain tumor metastasis. Clinically, it is commonly used for gastric and duodenal ulcers as well as upper digestive tract bleeding.

Product Application of Cimetidine CAS#51481-61-9

Launched in 1975, cimetidine is the first selective H2 receptor antagonist for peptic ulcer therapy. It potently inhibits basal and stimulated gastric acid secretion to relieve acid-related gastrointestinal diseases.
It protects against chemical gastritis and treats stress ulcers and upper gastrointestinal bleeding, widely applied for gastric ulcers, duodenal ulcers, esophagitis and Zollinger–Ellison syndrome.
It also acts as an I1 imidazoline receptor agonist, and can suppress tumor cell adhesion and metastasis by reducing endothelial selectin expression.
